Trip down memory lane

Just thought that everyone would like to go for a trip down memory lane. I think we should put in an offer and purchase this place.

Thanks for your support and nice comment--I think.

I don't think the place if for sale, but the last I checked, the pub in Kilfenor was for sale. Not far from Mecca.

Sarah, someday you will have to share your wealth of knowledge on how to work magic with this website. Did anyone show it to Lin?

Wait a minute...who are you people? Name changes have occured and I'm a bit in the dark... I know who Bridget is, but who the heck are the rest of ya? :)
PS - mother dear, you did a fab job for a rookie. Get DSL and you'll be able to post in minutes instead of hours. Of course, the easiest way to do that is to move to a bigger town. Say...something north a couple hours? What say you? Did you contact Roxanne today? Ladies...I think we need to gang up again. :) Found a great retirement home just 20 minutes from here with a HUGE garden club. Bridget *shoud and could* be a kept woman. HUGS ALL!!
Tomorrow I search for the perfect color of green for our basement accent wall. Sick of the red. Of course, I'll be sending you the color names to get input. Who needs to see the shade, the name will win it.

Sarah dearest, we shall have to thing of an Irish name for you. Something a little more uncommon. Any suggestions ladies? I will try to clean up those pictures as you suggested. T'will be too hot today for much else.

I think Sarah would be an excellent Siobhan. I'm also fond of the name Niamh. I vote for Siobhan. All in favor say "Aye".

Maggie said...

.......I like Maureen too.

Bridget said...

Aye, Siobhan is perfect. Unless of course Sarah would prefer Niamh. That was the name of my shorthair. She could be named for a dog like her mother...whoever she is.

Maggie said...

So, then, we have two votes for Siobhan. Does Sarah get a vote? I don't think so. She will just have to trust us. Let's not name her after the dog.

Under the larger photo of Walsh's there are 4 smaller photos. In the first one........who is the strappin' young thing sittin' at the bar? Do we know him?

Bridget said...

I suggest you go to the website and inquire, it looks like he's looking for you Maggie.

Siobhan, I mean Sarah darling, you must make this change as I can't do it for you. The Sisters have spoken. Unless you want to be named after a dog, and live with that the rest of your life. This is no treat.

I think we know this guy. I think he was one of the guys involved in one of the brawls we created. Isn't he one of the Murphy boys? I could be wrong about that.

Ah sure....tis Michael Rafferty at the bar there. Do you not remember him, Maggie? He was the one Brdget kicked goo and hard in teh shin after he made some crude comment on your outfit. She claimed it was simply a missed dance step that led to the kick, but we know our Bridget better than that.

Maggie said...

That hooligan, Michael Rafferty. And didn't I think that was a compliment he gave me on that outfit. I believe that was one of your outfits I was wearing Finola. One of the reasons I didn't take any offense to Michael's comments is because he is rather easy on the eye.

Finola said...

He IS easy on the eyes. When he looks at you with those dreamy deep blue eyes, asks you if you want to take a ride with him in his cart to look at the lake, how can you refuse him? But he doesn't have a good thing to say about the O'Malleys. Not sure what they did to Michael or his family but it must have been something drastic. It was Michael himself, that lit the fire on the haystack in the O'Malley's field last year. Oops...don't tell him I mentioned that!

Has anyone seen my green pants. You know....the ones with the flowers at the bottom? I think I saw Maggie wearing a pair of capris that looked a lot like them, but no accusations being made here!

Maggie said...

You might find those capris either in the shed or behind the shed. Not sure. I'll ask Michael if he remembers where he took them off. I'll find ya some new ones. It was well worth it, believe me.

You know, sometimes lust overcomes family feuds. So it goes in this case.

Maggie said...

Thanks for the heads up on the Michael thing Finola. You know, he needs to let bygones be bygones. So my dad screwed his mom. SHIT - He and I could be brother and sister. Can I say Shit here? Anyway, revenge is sweet.

Bridget, have ya found us a cottage to buy in Clare? We will be needin' a place to rest our heads of the a Wed. and Thurs. night. Should I start lookin' for a place for us? I think I know just who to ask. Leave it to me and I'll be gettin' back to yas.

OK - I think I have found the deal of the century. A friend of a friend has a cottage that he is wanting someone to look after. He has taken a job working for Hewlett Packard in India. He will be helping people with their computer problems over the phone. But the catch is he must learn to speak with an Indian accent. His contract is for 5 years. I told him we would love to care for his family home whilst he is away. And listen to this.......it has 5 bedrooms. 3 up - 2 down. I for one, will be taking an upstairs room. It has two full bathrooms and an open fire in the lounge. Aren't we lucky?! It's in Creegh only a short Irish walk to Walsh's. Can it get any better than that? All we need is our toothbrush and underwear......well some of us will bring underwear.
